- Why Darss over other tutoring services?
Darss will help you schedule a session before your exam with the best tutors in your school.

Darss is traditionally cheaper than most other tutoring services out there.

Darss also provides tutoring for more courses – typical tutoring services only serve larger/lower-level classes, we do not discriminate! Our tutors are course specific and many times instructor specific. Darss tutors are students or recent grads, or tutors who had/has actual tutoring experience at your school’s tutoring centre who have previously aced the course. So you can be sure you’ll learn exactly what you need to know when you need to know it!

- What if I had a bad experience or have an issue?
We want to hear about it and ensure you’re taken care of! We will do anything and everything we can to help you out. E-mail us directly at support@ Darss, or you may go into the app, navigate to the settings tab, and click “Contact Help and Support Team”.

- How do I pay/start the session?
Payment is easy! When you and your tutor meet up, both of you will navigate to the appropriate session in the “Sessions” tab and hit “Start Session” – from there a timer begins. When you are both finished, either party hits the stop button on the session, and the money is transferred automatically. No checks, no cash, and no hassle. You will be billed after the session has ended. Payment processing is securely powered by Stripe (used by Instacart, Twitter and Pinterest). So rest assured, your information is safe with Darss.

- What classes are offered?
Classes are available depending on our tutors and the classes they have selected to tutor. Currently, Darss covers almost 20 unique college courses! That number is always growing :)

- How much does it cost?
Prices are fixed $25 CAD with no taxes

- What if I can’t make it to the session?
We encourage you to do your best to make it to any session you’ve scheduled.
Also, since all requests are scheduled on the same day, cancelling option will not be available, and the full $25 will be charged on your account.
We are working on a scheduling system that will allow you to cancel without any charges if you cancel three hours before the session.

- I need a tutor! How does it work?
It’s easy – search for the class that you need help in, we will do the work to provide you with a list of tutors ranked by relevancy, campus and ratings. Review their profiles and select “Request” for the tutor that you want. From there, you will enter the time, location, and length that you prefer. The tutor will then be notified of your request and prompted to agree. Once they accept the session, you are all set!

- Are you affeliated with any college or university?

Not at this point but we will be reaching out to colleges and universities to supplement any students tutoring support they may have.
